The Iowa–Yucatán Partners is a long-standing citizen-diplomacy organization that links the U.S. state of Iowa with the Mexican region of the Yucatán Peninsula. It was founded on September 24, 1965 by Iowa civic and business leaders alongside then-Governor Harold Hughes, under the broader umbrella of the Partners of the Americas initiative.
